My College Life – Episode 3

The College started in the same political manner with elections for the commerce dept. along with the elections for the students union took place pretty much simultaneously within a week. The election was done on a deal with the Students union, as in, the contestants all entered into a single deal of mutual support on either sides. We won the commerce department hands down.

We soon formed a committee known as the Forum of Commerce. In this year of tremendous success, the most interesting thing in college life I learnt is the respect what you get not only from your juniors but also the teachers is what that would make you stand out. We FOCkers, Stood out. We actually ruled the third year. No one was able to stop our growth. In spite of many hurdles both internally and externally, we, I would say did what many departments would have never dreamt of.

As far as the studies, the fifth semester was a tough one, cause; the CAT was on the cards. The Sixth semester, attended hardly about a weeks class. Did pretty average on both the semesters but eventually did enough go get that distinction.

The college though lived on its Name, still managed to be there in the top three because and only because of the Students there. Even now there’s a long procedure to get my TC and am still confused about the consolidated mark sheet. For everyone eying Loyola as their dream destination for their UG, make sure that your voice is heard and heard loud.
